Admissions at Newlands
Registration is the first step in the admission process. In order to register your child with us, you will need to complete the registration form and submit it with the following documents.
- Copies of National ID card of both the parents/ guardian (Pakistani Nationals)
- Copies of first two pages of passport of both the parents/ guardian (Foreign Nationals)
- Copies of the child’s NADRA Birth Certificate, B-Form and fist two pages of valid Passport
- Copies of the child’s last school report
- Two recent passport sized photographs of the child
Registration forms are also available at school’s admission office for Busy Bodies to A-Levels, Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 16:00 on regular school days and in winter/ summer vacation the timings are from 9:00 to 14:00. At the time of registration, the admission officer will provide you with the assessment date and decide with you the level for which the student will take the entrance exam. The school administration will inform regarding the decision on admission within one week from the date the test was taken.
If your child has been offered admission to Beaconhouse- Newlands , you will be required to complete all admission formalities by the date intimated to you. Your child can only attend classes after the process is completed, which include submission of all required documents.
Transfers:
In principle, Beaconhouse Newlands accepts transfers from all the Beaconhouse branches, subject to availability of the seats. However, the final decision is made after an interview of parents and child with the section head. Parents needs to bring following documents in order to process the transfer:
- Completed Registration Form
- Transfer Letter
- Copies of National ID card of both the parents/ guardian (Pakistani Nationals)
- Copies of first two pages of passport of both the parents/ guardian (Foreign Nationals)
- Copies of the child’s NADRA Birth Certificate, B-Form and fist two pages of valid Passport
- Copies of the child’s last school report
- Two recent passport sized photographs of the child
Your child can only attend classes after the transfer process is completed, which include submission of all required documents.

Admission at Boarding House:
Beaconhouse-Newlands provides boarding facilities for the students coming from other cities (O-Level and A-Level only). Students interested in boarding must inform the admission officer at the time of registration. A boarding form along with the registration form is provided to parents interested in boarding for their son or daughter. A place at the boarding house is confirmed only after an interview with the boarding house master. Kindly note, due to limited places available, that academic admission is no guarantee of a place in the boarding house.
Admission Test Requirements:
For Busy Bodies, Pre- Nursery and Nursery there will be an observation or verbal assessment followed by an interview of the parents along with the child with the section head. From KG and on wards, your child will have to sit through a written assessment of English, Urdu and Mathematics. An adult will need to accompany the child to school and hand over to the administrator in charge of conducting the admission tests.
A detailed admission test syllabus will be provided to the parents at the time of registration. Duration for the admission test will be 2 to 3 hours depending on the class for which your child is seeking admission.
*Children coming from abroad with no prior knowledge of Urdu are exempted from Urdu at the time of admission test.
